David's Cookies entered the retail marketplace in 1979 as a single boutique gourmet cookie store in New York City. They produced and sold fresh baked cookies using only the finest ingredients and quickly gained a huge customer following.

Using only top quality ingredients and nothing artificial, in 1990 David's Cookies began to mix cookie dough for other foodservice operators and concentrated on developing additional products for the foodservice industry. Throughout the 1990's, David's Cookies continued its evolution into a full line dessert supplier.
